Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park

At our November 2007 meeting, the LSCSRT voted unanimously to assist the original "creative team" who came up with the remarkable idea of building a Texas Flag Park in Montgomery County.  This park pays tribute to the many flags that flew in the Republic of Texas previous to Texas becoming a State (February, 1846).  The vote means that the Lone Star Chapter is taking the lead for seeing this project to a successful conclusion.  We are VERY excited about it and the history it adds to the entire Montgomery County area.
